DRONES, CAMERAS AND
CUSTOM BUILD GEAR
High-end equipment for professional drone productions
One of the things that makes Kiwi a unique drone company is that we have our own workshop in Amsterdam. This place is full of drones, cameras and other drone gear for providing professional aerial shot services. With our own CNC and 3D printers we work on a daily base on custom gear. Everything to make workflow on set easier and make next-level aerial requests come true.
Have a look at this page to get a glimpse of the possibilities we offer. In the end, all productions are unique so it’s always best to contact us and tell us what you have in mind. Challenge us as we love to build the impossible and build new drone gear that has never been out there before.

CUSTOM DRONES AND GEAR
GROUNDBREAKING PRODUCTIONS, PRECISION-BUILT IN-HOUSE
The process often starts with a creative challenge from a director, or when Kim feels that a certain setup can simply be improved. From the very first moment, we collaborate to translate a vision into flight-ready technology. This begins at the drawing board, where we create the initial technical designs and refine them through close consultation. Once the design is finalized, the workshop goes into overdrive: we build, program, and conduct extensive test flights to guarantee stability and safety. Only when the setup performs flawlessly do we deploy it on set. This process of collaborative thinking, designing, and realization allows us to get the impossible into the air.

ADVANCED ENGINEERING. CREATIVE VISION & NEXT-LEVEL DRONE PRODUCTIONS
While we sleep, our 3D printers keep running to realize the prototypes of tomorrow. We don’t stop at the limitations of off-the-shelf equipment. Almost everything we acquire is stripped down and rebuilt to be lighter, stronger, or more reliable, which is essential when it comes to drone efficiency and safety.
- Custom Drones: Built for more speed, agility, and reduced weight. We create specialized setups, like our Immersive Condor drone, featuring front-mounted cameras for an unobstructed 180-degree view.
- Filmset Props: Whether it’s a ‘drone delivery’ of a Peli case at an offshore wind farm, a functional prop for a commercial, or we are flying the drone swarm that chases the talents.
- Specialized Lighting: Our in-house developed drone lights push the limits of output. Ranging from massive 2500W LEDs to 600W systems for the Inspire 3, and compact 100W LEDs that act as a flying fairy light source on set.
- ART projects: From a flying djellaba in Morocco to a giant set of antlers on a heavy-lift drone for art projects, we get every unique payload stable in the air.
- Multi-camera Array: Development of our multi-camera array for helicopters, delivering 22K resolution and a 310-degree field of view.
- Custom Optics: We design bespoke lens adapters to fly characterful vintage glass on modern digital sensors, such as the Inspire 3.
- On-Set Resilience: Our technical expertise travels with us to the set. With mobile soldering stations and deep electronic knowledge, we pivot instantly whenever the production requires a change of plans.
